What's your 30-second elevator speech?
Studio Us : Branding for Visionaries. Formed on the basis of collaboration and connection, I work closely with each of my clients to craft branding and visual identities that reflect the underlying story and purpose of their offering. Because this is where the magic lies.
Focusing strongly on concept and with the audience always in mind, clients are involved at each creative step along the way, so together an emboldened and valuable identity is formed. This not only helps them stand up and out of the crowd, but is something they’re excited to take ownership of and forge strongly ahead with.
Who inspires you the most to be the best you can be as a person?
My family – they’re a wild and adventurous tribe, and one I am constantly in awe of and so blessed to have created. My best design yet!
Can you tell us a little bit about your business, and the areas you specialise in?
Studio Us provides graphic design skills that shape and craft branding and identity suites. This includes everything from brand naming and tagline formation, copy creation, graphic assets such as logos and iconography, colour and typography palettes, print and digital collateral and everything else that rolls out from there. Whew!
Can you tell me about one of your client success stories?
I am so pleased to say that most of my clients businesses are not only alive and well, but still growing! Especially during a year that has had many businesses close up shop. I put this down to connecting and resonating with their target audience successfully – the way they show up in the world – this is what brand presence is all about.
What’s your favourite thing about working at Motive Coworking?
Seeing happy, smiling faces around and being part of a collective energy. The change of scene and wide open space is refreshing. That and the Friday BBQs of course!
What does life look like outside your business profile? What do you like doing for fun?
Health, wellbeing and creativity are of priority to me. This translates to fresh air, exercise, meditation, pottery, plenty of dog cuddles and having a few laughs over a wine. It’s all balance right?
Is there anything you would like to share? Or anything you’d like to offer help with?
I really love what I do and being able to celebrate what other people do through the services I provide. So if you need any tips or suggestions or basically want to chat anything design and branding then you’ll likely find me near the basketball hoops!
Bonus Question: If you were a sandwich, what sort of sandwich would you be and why?
Avocado, tomato and sea salt on home made sourdough. Grateful for what the earth provides but also hopefully providing my own positive contribution too.
